The Little Green Dot is a leash. It is a surrogate for trust and thrives in low-trust environments.
Good stuff from Cory Etzkorn. Definitely true in my experience in some departments where presenteeism is practiced. Managers need to protect their colleagues from the expectation of being instantly available to help protect their time so deep work can happen.
